On Thursday, September 1 2016, the Skipjack platform will be decommissioned. Please see below for important information regarding your current gateway service provided by Skipjack.
What services will be decommissioned with Skipjack?
Effective, Thursday, September 1, 2016, Skipjack will cease to offer transaction processing services and payment processing applications to include reporting inquiries and merchant boarding requests. This discontinuation includes:
- Virtual Terminal (Hosted at https://secure.skipjack.com and https://payments.skipjack.com/vterm)
- Skipjack’s Plug-in for QuickBooks®
- FormBuilder hosted payments
- Custom payment applications
- PowerPay (lockbox application)
How do I limit impacts to my business?
Skipjack realizes that each of our integration partners is unique, and their application and implementation vary by client, and those implementations methods are often unknown to Skipjack. You should contact your bankcard merchant services provider, or third-party integrated service provider to discuss alternate payment platform options. Part of decommissioning Skipjack includes a commitment from Skipjack and your providers to offer viable alternatives to make the migration process easier.
Skipjack will provide additional notifications as we progress towards the September 1, 2016 deadline to keep everyone informed of the discontinuation in these services.
